Himmelev Church and parish house – Implementation of district heating

In 2014, Damgaard Consulting Engineers implemented district heating in Himmelev Church and Parish House, in connection with Roskilde Supply expanding the supply area.

The district heating is led into the parish houses heating plant, from where the building is supplied with heat through central heating and domestic hot water. An exchanger is also located in the heating plant, which supplies heat to the church via a circulation line. In connection with the transition to district heating, the air heating system was replaced with a new energy-efficient air heating system supplemented with a couple of radiators in the porch and baptistery.

The entire heating system is made with CTS, so heating of the church can be controlled and heated as needed.
